We started teaching private workshops again, because they are addictive My student from Austria is doing very well, we will post some pictures later this weekend. For all people interested in following a private workshop, we can offer full pension including a 4 day workshop. For people who work on assignments and would like to have one on one guidance for their complex projects, we offer the same. Full pension and use of studio till max 20h and guidance for 4 days.
Places are very limited, as we do this in between assignments and workshops, but I have a lot of fun doing this and it is a good way to learn for determined artists that want to absorb as much as possible and work as if they are at home.
I am working on a new faerie, sketching along and putting up everything in one color first. Later I will add other colors, as soon as I am happy with the underpainting.
This is the first time I use an airbrush for my faeries, as normally they are painted with brushes and acrylics. I like the approach so far and can’t wait to finish it after I finished the rest of my work.

The colors are more luminous and re- water soluble. Easy erasing and scratching.

All workshops will be professionally guided by me and Carlo. During a number of demo’s you will learn and see how to build up a realistic portrait, clothing, hair, lips, skin, eyes and more, and in some cases also finish your portrait completely.
Everything is easy to understand and follow with lot’s of fun!
- Bed and breakfast close to the studio, free parking and good connections with busses/trains. For all that want to spend some extra time in the area, there is lot’s to see, dunes, beach, forests, cities, musea, exhibitions, markets (we are also very close to Leiden, Amsterdam, The Hague). Bike and scooters can be rented at the bikeshop close to us.

*Also, our new homestudio in Holland-Katwijk , is comfortable, cosy and you work with professional materials only, like E’TAC Paint and Iwata microns sb. Also a big space for everyone to work on your painting, that we make on Schoellershammer board. Free parking, A simple lunch, drinks and a maximum of professional guidance will be offered in a small group. There will be some extra time to paint freely, after 18h for everyone that enjoys airbrushing more then food and sleep The studio closes at 21.00h. There is also an option for B&B close to the studio.
