Oil on canvas 120 x 140cm
Leave no crumbles for the birds! Mum taught me to always finish my plate, I guess this counts too.
It’s number 2 out of originally 3 planned paintings for a Triptych. In the first he picks up the crisp, the second (here) he brings the picked up crisp towards his mouth and the third he’s walking away to eat it. It’s never been finished, but he will instead walk away in our minds to an unknown destination. Fulfilled and happy…
Fun Fact
Hamkaas is a Dutch salty Crisp, meaning Ham & Cheese.
